This report draws on data from the first sweep of the Growing Up in Scotland ( GUS) study. The Sweep 1 Report highlighted the persistence of inequalities between advantaged and disadvantaged families which impact on parents and their children
This report, which draws on data from the first sweep of the Growing Up in Scotland study, starts from the position that in order to understand the types of formal support services that parents of young children require, the extent to which parents have access to, and draw upon, informal sources of support must also be understood.
Promoting an Integrated Approach - A Discussion Paper
The overarching purpose of the research was to undertake a process evaluation of the Skills for Work pilot courses in order to inform the national roll-out of these courses.
