- The plant needs to be inspected and considered to have met the necessary Russian standards. Contact Jesus Gallego, Veterinary Adviser, Scottish Government to arrange inspection - Jesus.gallego@scotland.gsi.gov.uk
- The company must then complete this Annex with their details and those of their Russian importers. (Please note: The full postal address for your Russian importers, and the importers Taxpayer's reference INN/VAT number should be input, as this is required by the Russian Authorities to specifically identify their importers.)
- The completed Annex should be returned to Ewan Scott, Food and Drink Industry Division, Scottish Government by e-mail - Ewan.scott2@scotland.gsi.gov.uk
- Following verification, the Scottish Government will forward the Annex to DEFRA who send a copy of the Annex and letter to the Russian Authorities requesting that they add the company to their list of approved UK plants.
- Once the Russian Authorities approve the request they will add the company name to their website which details current companies/premises licensed to export to Russia.
