Placing Requests
Following a consultation on the scope of Scottish Government School Statistics publications in September 2010 we have ceased to collect and publish statistics on Placing Requests. The latest available data is for 2008/09.
The total number of placing requests received for 2008/09 was 29,892. This was a 4.9 per cent increase from the previous year. In 2008/09, 83.8 per cent of all requests were granted, up from 82.3 per cent in 2007/08.
